Computer Network Information Center Participates In Creation Of 4D Movie Theater Ocean Legend Released

On May 24th, the 4D movie "Ocean Legend" co-produced by the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and the Institute of Natural Sciences History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was premiered at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. Han Hua, who is a Party Secretary of the Computer Network Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yuan Ping, Party Secretary of the Institute of the History of Natural Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wang Xiaoming, Director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, and Xiao Yun, Director of the New Media Technology and Application Development Department of the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the premiere.

This film is the first time that we have tried to create a 4D Movie Theater popular science film for the science and technology museum market. Through this cooperation, we have explored and formed a mechanism and a model for the cooperation between our center and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and the Natural History Institute. Using the advantages of the technology and platform of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in informatization construction and application, promote the popularization of high-end scientific research resources and the latest scientific research results, and create digital science popular content; on the other hand, promote the integration of scientific research and popular science work, and explore scientific research institutes and popular science venues. Innovations and explorations have been made in cooperation mechanisms and models for scientific research transformation. The Center also signed a tripartite strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and the Institute of Natural Sciences History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The three parties will strengthen cooperation in the development of science and technology to support culture and establish a mutually beneficial and win-win strategic cooperative relationship.
